The Things That I Want
1, The gift of amnesia, to trade in the fait accompli of finishing a story for the wonder and joy of having a new one to spend a sleepless night delving into.
2, A proper camera.
3, An impulsive cure for my boredom and free time, in the vague fabrications of spending it with friends.
4, For time to fly, so that two weeks will pass by unnoticed.
5, A lack of foreboding, instead of an equipoise between that and preparation, with the holes stopped to prevent that ominous feel from creeping in.
6, Stasis.
7, For my future self to note the shallow qualities of my previous wants, in which was hopefully a great time, and for the wants to retain such qualities, transient and syncopating.
One for sorrow, two for joy, three for a girl, four for for for..., five for silver, six for gold, seven for a secret, never to be told.
