ASS-ay

I'm two whole sentences further along than yesterday. Remember- "Discontent is the first step in the progress of a man".[1] Therefore, I'm progressing a lot.

The lay of the History essay.

Had already opened my History essay and began to write my first paragraph. Then!

hey history essay extended to fri

Baaaasket. I had opened my word document for about an hour before feeling motivated enough to continue and now this. Last Saturday I was preparing to write the essay on Sunday when Mr Khoo told us that the deadline was postponed to Wednesday. Everytime I begin to begin my essay it gets postponed- of course I could complete it now and feel a sense of satisfaction but everyone knows that essays are supposed to be done only the day before! It must be fate.
Now comes the dilemma- do I stare at the partially filled word doc for another half hour before sleeping, or do I wait til Thursday and hope for another extension the minute I start?

Caffeine OD

Another fun week of school ended. Amazingly no one from our class had to leave, so we're still the same A13 =D. Sadly MingHao went to A12.. hope it's not my fault since I told him that if he took that combi he's sure to end up in my class. Woops...

Anyway had my first VJ photosoc duty this week! Covered orientation2. Ok maybe partially covered, since we skipped the first day to cycle at east coast and some of the second to play basketball. Took about 220+ pics, but sadly only about 100 are usable due to certain.. circumstances. *koffcamwhorekoff* Hope Ms Goh isn't too disappointed.

Just uploading pics from my cam... celebrated my cousin's 3rd birthday today with a BBQ at my aunty's house! Turns out all those BBQ-ing with the HISSOC made me a quite able fire-starter. No one had stomach-ache! yet. Can't wait for A13 BBQ next week... Then I drank a cup of Nescafe coffee which probably explains my state of awakeness at this time. Need to wake early cos going to IT show tomorrow to get my iPod speakers! Finally will be able to listen to decent music in my room. My mom still thinks it's a waste of money, bleh.

Ugh. Thank God it's chocolate.

Complete

Woo just completed my History essay. Just hope my printer doesn't screw up again halfway through printing. One can probably guess how last minute this work was, seeing how this post is timed at 2am on Sunday night. Remind me to start on my other History essay at least a week before its due- doing a JC level essay of 2000 words AND researching it in the library is not something you can do in a day (or something you would want to do again after spending a day doing it).
Gonna sleep now with the help of Great Expectations. HAHA I'm on the same part as Harry from senior class (who did the exams on this book last year). The chair by my bedside which is usually cluttered with an assortment of bedtime reading (Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams etc) is now full of History texts and that Great Expectations book.
And I want iPod speakers! Currently using my old computer speakers plugged into my iPod, which means I have to walk allllll the way from my bed to the table to change a song. Here's where CNY comes in handy.

Good morning.
